The vineyards of the Château des Gavelles stretch over 35 hectares, most of which is classified as AOC Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence.
The choice of grape varietals is of very good quality and the main varietals are split harmoniously between Grenache (51, 3%), Cabernet Sauvignon (25,1%) Shiraz (7%) and Cinsault (3,5%) for both the reds and rosés, with Rolle (4,2%), Bourboulenc (5,5%) and a little Ugni Blanc (3,4%) for the whites.
