The Gavelles vineyard covers 35 hectares most of which is classified as AOC Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence. The majority of the Château des Gavelles vines are situated on the Puyricard plateau, on the southern foothills of the Trévaresse hills, a small chain in the Provencal inland, linking the Alpilles to the Montagne Sainte Victoire.
It is one of the most remarkable terroirs of Provence, by virtue of its size, fertility, climate and the memories it evokes.
